Behind every staircase lies a carefully considered construction. We usually work with a multilayer (plywood) core for optimal stability, though a solid construction is also possible. This way, we combine aesthetics with durability, even for intensive use or complex designs.
Stair cladding that seamlessly integrates with your interior
Belgiqa stair cladding
At Belgiqa, we create stair cladding that fully follows the design, or deliberately stands out. From clean and minimalist to bold and complex: anything is possible, as long as it fits within the interior concept. For us, a staircase is more than a connection between floors. It is an element that helps define the character of a space. That is why we approach stair cladding in the same way as parquet or wall cladding: as a fully integrated part of the design.

Wood species and colours
Our stair cladding is available in all wood species from our collection: from oak and ash to afrormosia, Douglas fir, elm, mahogany and walnut. This allows the staircase to form a harmonious whole with the interior. In addition, stair cladding is available in all colours of our collection, ensuring a seamless transition with parquet or veneer.
Staircases that match your floor and walls.
Choose the 360° experience
At Belgiqa, we think in terms of the interior as a whole. That is why we perfectly align parquet, veneer and staircases. Our stair cladding is available in the same wood species and colours as our parquet and veneer, so the staircase becomes a natural extension of the interior rather than a separate element. The result? One continuous style, one colour palette and a harmonious whole, from floor to wall and staircase.
Types of treads
Every staircase requires a different technical or aesthetic solution. That is why we offer three finishing options: L-tread or straight tread, Z-tread, or tread with nosing. This way, you will always find a shape that perfectly suits your interior design.
L-tread
The L-tread, also known as a straight tread, creates a clean and understated look. The cladding runs over the nosing, resulting in a straight and calm walking line. This type of tread is often chosen for minimalist interiors.
Z-tread
The Z-tread features a recessed riser, creating a floating and refined effect. The interplay of shadow and depth gives the staircase a strong architectural character. Ideal for designs where lightness and detail take centre stage.
Tread with nosing
The tread with nosing is a straight tread with a subtle projection at the front. This detail gives the staircase a more classic and recognisable profile, while offering additional comfort and emphasis.
